Moon on Jan 27
The moon on Saturday evening, 8:10 pm MST at lunation 9.
Image taken with Celestron Nexstar 11, F6.3 focal reducer, and Canon Xti Camera (ISO 200, 1/325 sec). Aligned and stacked 40 images with Registax4. Sky was mostly clear, high thin haze, temperature 12°F, no wind, and good transparency. The forecast for the upcoming week is for clouds and snow, probably no imaging for me for a while. I can’t complain, the last few days of steady air have been fun!
