Saturn on Dec 16, 2005
Here is an image of Saturn, past midnight this morning. Celestron Nexstar 11, Televue 2.5X Powermate, Phillips Toucam 740K, 1/20 sec shutter, Gain 50%, Brightness 70%, 10 fps, and 352×288 format. Temperature 15 deg F, turbulence 6/10, transparency good, and thin clouds. I don’t seem able to get a good Saturn, still lots of noise and blury. Next week, I’ll try around 5 am in morning as I’ll be up then imaging the waning moon.
