Sun on Nov 23, 2005
Image of the sun in white light on Nov 23, 2005. Region 10822 is nearing the western limb and is still impressive. Equipment used Stellarvue A1010, Baader filter, 2.5X Powermate, and Canon 300D camera.
Image of the sun in h-alpha on Nov 23, 2005. I observed a small erruptive prominence on the western limb. Unfortunately it didn’t show up in prominence photos.Equipment used was Solarscope Ltd 50mm h-alpha telescope, 2.5X Powermate, and Canon 300D camera.
